Dear friends,

We work hard to shift the balance of power, or in Purim lingo, nahafokhu -- we strive to turn things upside down. Because we fight uphill battles, the experience of winning too often eludes us.

Wherein we share about the venue hosting this shindig, Ant Hall, and about its accessibility.

Wherein we share about the wizards designing and building beautiful visuals for Purim. 

Wherein we share about the spiel authors, spiel theme, and costume contest.

Building off Roz & Jake's excellent "What's a Purim?" piece, we want to expand on what to expect at our 4th Annual Purim Extravaganza (have you RSVPd yet???). For each day of the week leading up to the bash, we'll release a blog featuring one aspect of what makes our Purim party so unique.

When our democracy is under attack by hateful forces of systemic oppression, Bend the Arc Jewish Action draws the bold lines in the sand that we need to keep each other safe. DJJ recently signed onto BtA's People’s Resolution Rejecting Antisemitism, Islamophobia, Racism, and Xenophobia. Check out this blog for the resolution's full text.
