Calling all DJJ leaders: RSVP to join us for our monthly General Meeting on Tuesday, July 17th.
Schmoozing and snacks 6 - 6:30 pm. The meeting will start promptly at 6:30 and go until 8.
***In order to avoid the heat of last month we have changed locations to the Mondry Building at 15000 W 10 Mile Rd, Oak Park, MI 48237. Spread the word!!****
We'll start with breakout groups then we'll come back for updates and community announcements.
The breakout choices are:
- Information and brainstorming on our water campaign in 2018. Targeted towards the water team or new folks interested in joining the water work.
- Education on upcoming workers' rights ballot proposals: Paid Sick Time & One Fair Wage. No prior knowledge needed.
- Debriefing on Poor People's Campaign (targeted towards those who participated)
