July 2018: Signed on to faith letter opposing family separation and incarceration circulated by Church World Service.

June 2018: R. Alana signed on to list of declaration from 100 faith leaders against Detroit water shut-offs & DJJ endorsed press conference of faith leaders against shut-offs.

May 2018: Signed on to Oil & Water Don't Mix faith community resolution calling for the shutdown of the flow of oil in Enbridge Line 5.

May 2018: Signed on to letter opposing the "Voluntary Water Partnership for Distressed Communities" act. The law would provide "inappropriate incentives for communities to privatize water systems while failing to ensure long-term compliance with drinking water quality standards."

April 2018: Signed on to letter requesting Senator Stabenow's support for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

December 2017: Signed on to Letter of Support for Low-Income Water Consumer Assistance Program Act.

August 2017: Co-sponsored “Never Again Means Never Again” petition, a collective response of Jewish organizations to the events in Charlottesville.

July 2017: Signed on to Detroit Affordable Housing Trust Coalition

June 2017: Endorsed Breathe Free Detroit, a campaign to shut down the Detroit incinerator and hold it accountable for environmental crimes

June 2017: Signed United Hispanic Workers of Detroit’s letter speaking out against anti-sanctuary bills HB 4105 & HB 4334

May 2017: Joined Detroit Sanctuary City Coalition, a group of regional organizations working on immigration issues -- including Black Youth Project 100, Showing Up For Racial Justice, United Hispanic Workers of Detroit, and Indivisible
