For this last combined Freedom Team and Thriving Team meeting, we will be completing our summer of action trainings! The goal of this series has been to help Freedom & Thriving Team Members feel comfortable, confident and empowered participating in direct action, protest, and campaign work on their own while representing DJJ. 

During these workshops, we have been lifting up the full spectrum of participation in action; giving folks opportunities to engage in actions between monthly meetings as a way to participate lightly and to push ourselves; bringing in speakers, storytellers, and DJJ leaders active in Direct Action; helping us to navigate bringing all of our identities to action spaces, and more!

During our third and last meeting on Wednesday, August 4th from 6:30-8pm, we will be tailoring all of the learnings from the last two meetings to create the agenda. The content of this meeting is going to be based off of the feedback and learnings from the past two meetings, and we will update with more information in the coming days and weeks. RSVP below for the Zoom link, we hope to see you all there!
