Dear Detroit Jews for Justice Community,
As a member of MIStudentsDream, Michigan Network for Equity in Education, and We The People of Detroit, I have learned so much from the grassroots community organizing efforts of Detroit Jews for Justice. You are so intentional about the work you do with Detroit in order to achieve social justice. You model Dr. King’s Beloved Community and it’s a true blessing to bear witness to all of your work throughout Detroit.
During these horrific times, please know that I am sending you all of my love and prayers. I am so deeply sorry that violence and hatred has harmed my Jewish brothers and sisters. I am standing with you in the light and I am with you every day.
