Hello!


My name is Regina, and I am writing you on behalf of the 2017 Michigan Progressive Summit. This event will be held on March 4th at Wayne State University. This will be an opportunity for progressive activists to come together and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing us in the new year, as well as ways in which we can partner together to become more effective as a force for justice in our communities and state. Now, more than ever, it is essential that we work together to speak with a common voice and act with common purpose, and that progressives have a forum to meet in which such coordination can be discussed.


We encourage you, and any progressive organization you think may be interested, to fill out the following survey to share your thoughts on what you’d like to have discussed at the Summit, and what you think ought to come from greater cooperation between progressive groups. We will reach out to you as soon as possible after submission of the survey to discuss the Summit and how we can begin working together. If possible, we’d like to have an opportunity to meet with interested groups and individuals ahead of the Summit so everyone can share their input about the format of the event, and if interested, take part in helping to lead the events of the day.
