The Invest in MI Kids petition form has been approved, and we'll be hitting the streets to circulate petitions and collect signatures really soon. Like, within the next two weeks soon! So it's a good thing we have our circulator training (including talking points review) on Monday, August 11th! Can't wait to see you there. We need thousands of volunteers to gather hundreds of thousands of signatures, and I'm glad to be one of those thousands of volunteers with y'all. Also, this is the perfect meeting to bring your friends to. Please bring your friends!

Detroit Jews for Justice's Fund MI Future Team is working in coalition on a statewide ballot initiative called Invest in MI Kids, a constitutional amendment that will add a fair share surcharge to the taxes of Michiganders making more than $500k (filing single) or $1mil (filing jointly) and ensure that the money raised is only spent in support of classrooms.
