Stories of Access and Activism
Bring your friends and meet us outside TechTown to share our stories of accessibility and justice work, whether that be access to healthcare, education, clean water, housing, spiritual practices, nature, nutrition, or community. To tell stories builds community and community builds political power. Our work compels us to form relationships rooted in collective liberation across communities - join DJJ and our partner organizations as we hold one another's pains and triumphs in the fight for justice.
Singing, noshing, and shmoozing included. The event - per weather permitting - will be outside with masks optional. If the weather pushes us indoors, masks are strongly recommended.
If interested in telling a story, reach out to Stevie! We will have a storytelling coaching session prior to the event, but all are welcome to share on the fly, whether that be your own story or a piece of art or writing you'd like to bring to the group.
