DJJ has been supporting our partners People's Water Board Coalition in their fight for Water Affordability Legislation, and we're proud to say we are in the home stretch for getting this passed here in Michigan! It's crunch time, and we need to let our legislators know that we strongly support this legislation, and that we are here to support them as they work on passing it!

Join with other DJJ leaders to be in community while we take this important action. We'll help you figure out who to call and what to say. If you're new to DJJ and/or the water affordability fight, this is a great way to dip a toe in and get involved!

The evening session is tailored for leaving messages with legislators in support of the legislation, if you would like to speak directly to your legislators and find out what their level of support for the bills is (and your schedule permits), please check out one of our Afternoon Water Affordability Phone Banks.

If you're interested in participating but are unable to attend at either time, this document has all the instructions and scripts so you can do this when your schedule allows - just make sure you follow the instructions for "during business hours" or "after business hours" depending on when you're able to call!
