DJJ is planning the 1st Annual Wolfgang Awards and fundraising gala to honor individuals and organizations who have shown principled tenacity in pursuit of justice. The event is named after Myra Wolfgang, a local Jewish labor organizer, honoring her life and legacy. We will bring together DJJ's partners, leaders, and donors to celebrate, support DJJ, build our intergenerational culture, and get inspired for the work ahead.
The event will feature a silent auction of locally made/sold items and program book filled with ads for local vendors and organizations. We need your help to fill our program book and build an abundant silent auction offering!
There are 3 ways to volunteer:
1. Reach out to friends and family to purchase tickets
2. Call local businesses to sell ads and request auction items
3. Promote the event on social media
You're not on your own! We'll be volunteering together in teams during drop-in volunteer shifts. Please sign up for the earlier dates first - we hope to fill up our volunteer shifts for February-April initially. The first volunteer shift will take place at our February General Meeting. FOOD PROVIDED.
