Tu Bishvat Meeting: Jewish Relationships to Land and Indigenous Organizing

Come to our first all team meeting of 2024! Tu Bishvat is the Jewish holiday celebrating the birthday of the trees; the way it began, and has been celebrated for the last couple thousands of years says so much about Jews' relationships to lands we have inhabited and the natural world. We'll be looking at this history, discussing our own personal relationships to land, and learning about local Indigenous organizing projects.

There will be food and ritual and friends, but feel free to bring more of those things! This is a great opportunity to plug into a beautiful, powerful, progressive Jewish community here in Detroit.
