Join Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue and Detroit Jews for Justice for an evening of education around the regional transit ballot proposal. Ruth Johnson of Transit Riders United and Mason Herson-Hord of Motor City Freedom Riders will facilitate a discussion about the history of transit inequity in our region, the issue’s ties to structural racism, and future opportunities for a better system.The event will offer attendees ways to get engaged in the Vote Yes for Regional Transit campaign for passage of the proposal on November 8th.
The program will start at 6:30pm and conclude at 8pm.
