RSVP to save your spot for our 7th annual DJJ Purim! This intergenerational party is a keystone in our community and we are so excited to be celebrating in-person after taking last year off. We will be gathering on the heated outdoor patio of Marble Bar at 1501 Holden street in Detroit. Costumes for all ages are highly encouraged!
This event will feature:
- A Reproductive Rights themed spiel
- An all ages costume contest
- Cash bar
- Food truck
- Homemade hamantashen
- Carnival games
- Kid's craft area
- Music & dancing
Spots are limited! We will be taking COVID precautions and checking adult vaccines and masks at the door. Your name MUST be on the list to gain entry. This is a free event! Children are welcome.
Parking:
- Free parking is located around the building on Holden and Trumbull streets as well as in the lot at 1451 Holden across the street from the venue
Additional housekeeping notes:
- All activities will be located outdoors on the heated patio
- Bathrooms are located indoors on the first floor
- The bar will be staffed by the venue, please tip accordingly
Community Health
- In the interest of broader community health, if you are feeling ill or are symptomatic, please rest at home. We'll see you at the next party :)
- We will have hand sanitizing stations throughout the event space.
- Sanitizing wipes will readily available for surfaces.
- We will have designated socially distanced eating and drinking areas.
- Masks are required to be worn when not eating or drinking.
- The capacity limit for this event is far below the venu's maximum capacity. We are keeping the event relatively small to ensure we can follow COVID precautions. There will be no exceptions to the rule. All guests must be on the RSVP list to gain entry.
