Art as Civil Disobedience
Sunday, January 20th 6:30-8:00PM at the Repair the World Workshop (2701 Bagley Street)
Come join Repair the World and Detroit Jews for Justice in exploring the role of art as a form of civil disobedience. We'll take a quick look at art's role in protest in previous social movements and then get our hands dirty creating our own protest art related to DJJ's current activist projects. All materials will be provided. Event is open to all ages but children under 15 should be accompanied by adults. This event is at no cost to you due to the generosity of our donors.
RSVP: Please RSVP so we can know how many people we're planning for.
