March with DJJ on Labor Day!

Southeast Michigan Jobs with Justice (SEMJWJ) is coordinating this year's Labor Day march. You're invited to march with the DJJ contingent. Details about timing, meetup location, and parking are forthcoming. RSVP below to stay in the loop.

SEMJWJ proposes that marching in large numbers in this year’s Detroit Labor Day March can mark the first step toward a labor-community unity, as inspired by Jim Hightower and Sen. Paul Wellstone’s motto, “We all do better when we all do better.”

Imagine: “We All Do Better When …"

  • “we raise the minimum wage”
  • “when everybody has health care”
  • “when unions are stronger"
  • “when we create Green Jobs”
  • “when everybody has clean, affordable water"
  • “when we have justice for all”

RSVP below for updates about the march!
