JOC Community Learning: Understanding Detroit History - Race, Jewishness, and Israel/Palestine

Jews of Color are invited to this workshop developed by Kendra Watkins and Reuben Telushkin to explore our local Detroit history with an eye on race, Jewishness, and Israel/Palestine. This history is often discussed in silos, ignoring those of us at the intersections of these narratives. Together, we'll discuss how we see ourselves in our community's ongoing story and develop a shared understanding of the current Detroit landscape.

This program is in partnership with Edot Midwest.
