What: RSVP to join us for our monthly General Meeting on Tuesday, October 16th. This month will be a Grassroots Fundraising Training! We'll talk about our personal relationship to money, about philanthropy, and about how core principles-based, grassroots fundraising is crucial to DJJ. There will be several hilarious skits and light snacks. Folks who commit to raising $500 at year-end will be invited to an additional training but this first one is open to all.
When: Schmoozing and snacks 5:30 - 6 pm. The meeting will start promptly at 6:15 and go until 8.
Where:**The location will again be the Mondry Building at15000 W 10 Mile Rd in Oak Park.**
Who: Current DJJ leaders. *If you're new to DJJ, please join us at 5:30 so we can orient you before the meeting.*
Our end-of-year fundraising campaign will empower leaders to plug into our grassroots fundraising work at one of four Dreidling levels:
- Networking like a Nun: Liking, Commenting, & Sharing fundraising-related social media
- Hero-ing like a Hei: Forwarding one of our e-mail fundraising appeals to a short list of friends/family
- Gleaming like a Gimmel: Being featured in fundraising-related social media
- Shining like a Shin: Committing to raise $500 from your personal network between 11/27 and 12/31
