The current role of DJJ's Organizing Team is to focus on big picture issues, envisioning a direction for our political work. We will also get our organizing feet wet with our participation in Time to Care's important petition drive to win Earned Sick Time for Michigan. Whether you're interested in direct action and organizing, relationship-building, issue education, or the realm of issue selection and strategy, there is a place for you on the Organizing Team!

At this kickoff gathering, we'll focus on getting to know one another, sharing our passions, and discussing our interest in and experiences with activism and organizing.
