Calling all DJJ leaders: RSVP to join us for our monthly General Meeting on Tuesday, April 17th.
Because we have a training this month, **our meeting will start promptly at 6:00** and go until 8. Doors open at 5:30 for schmoozing and snacks. The location is Delite Cafe & Deli in Hamtramck, 3135 Caniff St.
Our meeting will also serve as an introduction and training for our involvement in the Poor People's Campaign, when Michigan community will unite with states across the country for a month of action starting in May. We will also have some time for normal business and community announcements.
And mark your calendars for the Poor People's Campaign actions in Lansing on Monday May 14th and continuing for the following 4 Monday's (through Father's Day.) We're aiming to go all in for this -- join us on Tuesday to find out why it's so important.
