ACLU of Michigan's Smart Justice Campaign

Calling all Jews for criminal legal reform!

Right now, the ACLU of Michigan's Smart Justice campaign is base-building and doing initial outreach to state legislators to advocate for forthcoming legislation on pretrial reform that will advance our two-part goal: Cut incarceration in half and end racial disparity in the criminal legal system. Pretrial reform is relevant now more than ever before, and the Michigan Supreme Court concurs.
If you want to take part in Smart Justice, here's all of our upcoming events.

Register for a training and for our day of digital action!

We’re offering two identical trainings on storytelling and legislative advocacy – both are free to attend for anybody at any skill level. If you're a part of another campaign within DJJ, you are more than welcome to attend and build out your chops with us!
