Hey DJJniks! 

I am still feeling so held, nourished and reenergized after our 7th annual Purim extravaganza! I am so honored to have celebrated with every last one of you. With the help of our community, we pulled off this legendary keystone event without a hitch. I can’t thank everybody enough for their respective contributions. 

This event was truly a culmination of all the things that make up the essence of DJJ. Our rootedness in Jewish tradition. Our multiracial, multigenerational and all around awesome community. Our appreciation of arts & culture. Our radical optimism. Our power. Our vision for a more equitable, just and joyus region. All of these things and more were represented.

The highlight reel is almost endless! From Shanay Watson-Whittaker’s heartfelt speech to our hilarious reproductive freedom spiel. We noshed on hamantaschen and tacos. We made paper crowns. We laughed. We danced. We wore fun costumes. We saw each other's faces (finally!).

With this first event under my belt, I am so excited and ready to plan even more.
