Coffee Talk Featuring Dana on "Water & Racial Politics"

Join us on Weds. May 2nd, 6:30 - 8pm to hear from DJJ Leader Dana about her article "The Structural Origins of Territorial Stigma: Water and Racial Politics in Metropolitan Detroit, 1950s–2010s," which the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research (IJURR) editorial board awarded the prize of the best article in the journal of 2016.

Dana is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the University of Michigan and serves as our liaison to land & housing issues. She is also a member of the Campaign Advisory Team.

We'll be meeting at Cafe Delite: 3135 Caniff, Hamtramck. Light refreshments provided and hot drinks.
