PLEASE NOTE: To keep McDonald's management guessing, D-15 leadership is asking you to arrive at the Sheffield Center no later than 4:30 pm. From there, you will be directed to a nearby location for the rally. Pizza and free T-shirts will be available at the Sheffield Center from 3:00pm on.
On November 29th, the fourth anniversary of the first-ever Fight for $15 protest, Detroit 15 will host a day of action, inviting all supporters of workers rights to attend. The event is part of a National Day of Action in solidarity with low-wage workers as workers across the country who will be rallying and demanding a living wage and union rights. Join DJJ leaders in attending and showing support for our partners at D15.
The action will take place at 5 pm at the The Sheffield Center, 12048 Grand River in Detroit.
Staging locations will be hosted at locations across the city: UAW Local 22 (4300 Michigan Ave,) Greater Mt. Tabor Baptist Church (7345 W. Chicago), Historic King Solomon Church (6100 14th St), New Creation Christ Baptist Church (5201 French Road) and SEIU (2604 4th St.). Transportation will be provided to SEIU from each location.
